Review on Micca Pure Copper Speaker Wire with Gold-Plated Banana Plugs, 14 Gauge, 6ft (2m), Pair by Ahmed Rowe

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Look good and sound great!

They replaced a pair of MUCH more expensive Kimber cables. I bought them because they looked good in quality and looks. I had to replace the Kimbers because I recently upgraded from an 803 (towers) to a B&W Nautilus 805 (speakers on stands). The bulky, braided (two-wire) kimbers looked awful just hanging from the back of the speaker, and the woman insisted on replacing them. These miccas were flexible and small enough in diameter to run through a conduit on a post and then through a base. A. I'm not a big fan of exotic, expensive speaker wire (although there were Kimbers). I think if gauge matches length, any good quality wire will do. And as expected, I didn't notice any audible difference between the Kimbers and the Miccas. As a bonus, they also look good.

Pros
  • Premium pure copper speaker cable with 245 fine strands for excellent conductivity
Cons
  • I will add later
