Water-based marker set. The marker tip on the large side was a little hard to see at first (I thought it would look like a marker, but it looks more like a brush instead!). Surprisingly, I found the brush-like feel of these pens to be much more relaxing than traditional pens. I feel more like painting with a branch that never dries out than painting with a marker. I highly recommend these markers. The fine-tipped pen at the other end behaves exactly as it should, helping to get small areas nice and clean, while the big end is very satisfying. Friends, family and co-workers have commented on how vibrant and beautiful my color pages look and I have already recommended them to many people by word of mouth. I'll admit that some colors are a bit thinner than others, but going back to the stain a second time is like enjoying the task again, so it doesn't bother me in the slightest. A real treat for the price!
