Review on Photo camera Nikon Coolpix A100, silver by Wiktor Winiewski ᠌

The product is terrible, much below my expectations.

I purchased this camera to use as a service camera for document photography at work. I'll thus start with the fact that I received this gift horse for free. The image quality truly bothered me because I own a NEX series mirrorless camera. Okay, so the camera was required for photo documentation, but even here it performs just mediocrely. There are no settings that could at least somewhat rectify the condition, the photos are soapy, and the focusing misses. Although the shutter speed and aperture cannot be manually altered, at least the ISO can. Although the case is tiny, it is not well designed; it is awkward to hold the camera with one hand while holding the 200-sheet stitched file volume in the other. Why a standard mini or micro USB couldn't be inserted is beyond me. It's risky to travel with the original cable since you risk losing it. Because of the screen's low resolution, it is difficult to tell whether the camera captured the focus correctly. The first benefit is its small size; we are grateful for the lace included in the kit because it always feels like it will slip from your hands. There is a tripod mount, but without shutter speed adjustments, how can you photograph a landscape at night? I wonder if I'm being too harsh in my evaluation of a budget soap box as I type it. I don't think too much about it because my Chinese smartphone is only a few thousand dollars more expensive, shoots with a pair even better, and has no fewer settings, except that it is now twice as thin and has many more features. Conclusion: If you have a smartphone that costs at least $10,000, use that to take photos; if not, it would be preferable for you to purchase a smartphone than use this misinterpreted image. If you really require a small soap dish, search for a better option.

Pros
  • Maybe all it has is a small, slender body and a cable.
Cons
  • Picture quality, ergonomics of the design, an unconventional USB hookup, and the absence of a manual shooting mode
