Amazing - it really is as easy as the flick of a switch. I have a laptop and desktop that use the same screen and this makes it easy to switch between them. Computers also recognize when they've lost a screen - when I turn away from my laptop, my laptop recognizes this and therefore no longer displays on the second screen / switches to displaying only on its own screen (so not a phantom monitor where Windows can display ) . Recommended and repurchased to allow these computers to use the dual monitor setup. Note: the LED indicators are dim, but that doesn't matter as the flip is very fast and it's obvious which device is being displayed. Also, finding a convenient spot for a physically live switch is a challenge as there are 3 HDMI cables going in and out if you want to keep your workspace clean (I placed it behind the monitor just looking for the switch). If there's a version of this where the switch moves away from wires via wires or wirelessly, that would be a great iteration.
