Due to the way this arm connects to the monitor, the centerline of the VESA arm is a few inches *below* the centerline of the monitor. As a result, the monitor sits *higher* on any VESA mount than most monitors with built-in VESA mounts, which are typically centered vertically at screen height. To use it with a dual mount monitor stand (where the VESA mounts are on the same horizontal plane) I had to make a new adapter mount to mount between that mount and the VESA mount. This is not a problem for single monitor applications or dual mounts with several centimeters of height adjustment.
