Works well for my old Pfaff 1229 machine. I gave it a 5 because it's not the manufacturer's fault it bounces a bit during use, it's my machine. I love that it's clear so I can see around my leg and do my job better by following what I'm trying to do! I used my Dremel tool and cut between the red lines to open it up so I can better see the needle entering the fabric; Then use a nail file to smooth the edges of the cut. I bought it knowing it was acrylic with the intention of altering it.
