Review on Edifier H840 Audiophile Over-The-Ear Headphones - Hi-Fi Closed Monitor Music Listening - Blue by Tim Armstrong

I was looking for a pair of reliable in-ear headphones without breaking the bank. This pair seemed to have generally positive reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm pretty happy with them, but they're definitely not a $200 pair - bass levels leave a lot to be desired (if that's your thing). I also had to fiddle with the Windows sound settings for a few minutes to get them to play ANY kind of noticeable sound (PLEASE NOTE - if you're having trouble with the sound being too quiet, check your sound settings first) when I first got it plugged in, the sound was very quiet. However, they are quite comfortable and I can wear them for a long time without an earache! I wasn't particularly keen on any noise-cancelling feature, but this pair absolutely excels in that area - even without mute on, they significantly attenuate all other external noise.
