These bulbs are good for the price but I can't agree with other reviews that say they are very bright. I bought 3 types of bulbs - these 12 watt LEDs, some 20 watt fluorescents, some 15 watt BR30 LEDs. Of the three types, the 15W BR30 lamps from GREENIC were the brightest and had the best color/light quality. These 12 watt bulbs are a bit dimmer (more than you would expect with a 3 watt difference) and the light quality isn't as good, although the price per bulb is half the price of a BR30 so I can't do that whine too much. . One of these bulbs started flickering about 3 weeks after purchase - but for the price of 1 in 5 bulbs it doesn't work. I ended up returning the CFLs - they had good light colour/quality but were very dim compared to LEDs. .
