Nice Little Phone on Office Electronics

Nice phone for nice ears. I needed a speakerphone to take calls while I was at work. My old phone was clipped to my belt and the headset was attached to it with a cord. The cord is the weak link in these phones. The cable connector not only constantly sticks to things, but also inevitably becomes the source of a bad connection. I was determined to find a cordless replacement. This device was attractive in terms of price and size, and is actually a very nice touch, except that the manufacturer didn't see fit to make the ear clip that holds the phone to the ear adjustable. I tried the phone without the ear clip, just put the earbud in my ear. It's relatively comfortable on my ear, but it means I can't tilt my head and the mic is constantly rubbing against the stubble on my cheek, which sounds like static to the party on the other end. When I use an ear clip, the ear tip doesn't fit my ear canal, it sits a little higher and rubs the inside of my ear, which becomes unbearable after about half an hour. So, a nice phone with good sound and a nice compact design, but probably best for people with small heads and ears. Added on 11/29/07. Note on battery life. This device has a rechargeable battery. After 15 months, I can use it for about 2 minutes after charging before the low battery beep. So the battery only lasts 3 months longer than the warranty and then you have to replace the entire device. Beautiful or?
