Review on IMUSA R200 12W Aluminum 1 25 Quart Silver by Rob Bishop

First of all, please note that all the negative reviews about this mug come from people who chose the wrong size. Hope this got fixed. I have both sizes of this mug but chose the 1.25 liter for my hike and used it all the way. I cut off the handle as I will be using it as a pot and food and made a Reflectix kuzi for it which kept the food warm even in the Pennsylvania winter. Total weight is 3.7 ounces including kuzi and foil lid. I add Sugru to the lip area so I can use it as a tumbler without having to carry a separate tumbler with me. The rim and handle become too hot to drink from or otherwise hold on to. You won't find a titanium mug of this size and weight, and certainly not at this price. I've been a mountaineer for over 40 years and I think titanium really is an overpriced joke that rarely justifies its cost.
