I laugh at the reviews for this product. Many reviews say the product is terrible - it's light and breathable. Lots of other reviews say it's great - it's lightweight and breathable. product properties. This is OUR GUYTER for SUMMER. It is not designed to protect against Covid - if you want to protect yourself from Covid you must wear at least an N-95 mask - nothing less will protect you even one iota. Unless, of course, someone spits or sneezes in your face, it helps a little. I bought this for two reasons. First, because I like lightweight, moisture-wicking leggings when I run in winter. It's fall now, I live in Chicago, I need something around my neck to keep me warm and absorb sweat. I sweat no matter how cold it is. Gaiters protect against cold and help to evaporate sweat. For people who actually use it for the function described, it works great. Second, I bought it to comply with local ordinances requiring a "face covering." They don't require it to be Covid safe, you just have to cover your mouth and nose. It helps. Light and easy, quick on, quick off. The idea behind a face covering is to stop you from sneezing or coughing on people. For this purpose, it's as good as any other non-N95 face mask. Except that it's ten times easier to use. So buy it for the purposes it was created for and you will be happy. If you need winter leg warmers, don't buy them. If you want to protect yourself from Covid, buy an N-95 mask. And the only reason it didn't get five stars is because I have a big head and it's too narrow for my big brain.
