Review on Ultimate Obstacle Slackline Equipment: Unleash Your Playground Training Experience by Marcelo Montalvo

Tighten it as tight as you can.

Unexpectedly built an American Ninja Warrior track in my backyard for my niece (actually it was a surprise for the whole family as I only got permission from my brother to "build something in the backyard while they were on vacation and didn't let him know what it would be.) I originally attached it to an oak tree about 30 feet from me, but since there was nothing in my track design to keep the crossbar piece oriented, I snapped it started to pull it away from the centerline, so after a few days I took it off and reattached it to the perforated panel on the opposite side of the lift side. The triangular carabiners are zinc plated to withstand the weather, the wood is treated to withstand, nothing fades during FL weather month. It's also easy to swap where each of the buttons are to make things easier/more difficult. The ratchet is well built, almost the same as the one I used to pull trucks out of the mud.

Pros
  • Play & Swing Sets
Cons
  • Almost never
