Review on πŸŽ₯ Vasttron Mini Projector: Portable Multimedia Home Theater for Full HD Movies, Games & More by John Barnett

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It costs $50. I would buy again.

Simply great for the price. I didn't buy this for any specific reason or application. For the price my expectations were not high. The picture quality is not bad in a dark room and has a normal brightness for video in a dark room. I can project an image about 8 feet wide clearly, but I don't have free wall space left to test the focal length limit. Comes with a remote control and works well. None of the cons violate the terms of the contract. I didn't expect picture quality on the flat screen. The tripod is really useless. The top-to-bottom image is blurry (keystone correction doesn't help), you get either a top/bottom third and a slightly blurred center, or a focused center and a slightly blurred top/bottom. This is a minor thing unless you're projecting text. The quality of the focusing mechanism is better than preschool toys, but it works. Keystone is limited. Other reviewers complained about the speaker. That's enough for what is. YouTube videos sound good, music and movies play, but quality is limited. It has an external jack on the back, but I haven't tried my external speaker yet. HDMI works, USB works with USB/SD adapter. It has VGA, I haven't tried it. Using it as an external monitor for my laptop and computer bluetooth for the soundbar would be a great combination. For €50 I wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't be devastated if it was destroyed/damaged. That's functionality at a good price.

Pros
  • Chic design
Cons
  • New competition arrived
