Didn't work

So my optometrist told me that 12-hour shifts staring at a blue light screen get my eyes strained. I received these glasses and felt no relief other than the glasses being uncomfortable. I have now tried 3 different types of blue light blocking lenses and one of them works so this pair and this model. I'm not sure what's wrong. They sit too low and too close to your eyes because they don't have a nose support other than bare plastic.
