I was very patient with the two cassettes I bought. Maybe I'm being too patient because now I don't see a way to get her back. I thought I had a one year warranty but I don't know how to contact the seller. From day one the first cartridge didn't work properly, but I know from experience that sometimes it takes about 25 copies to get it right. The fade level should be set to WAYYYY low so that no black shadows appear on the copy. Maybe that's a good thing. Maybe my cassette will last longer BUT it's not a very dark copy and it's annoying that you can't adjust it. The BIGGEST problem, however, is that copies have a blank line on each page. Sometimes I get lucky and get the perfect page. So a few months later I decided to drop cassette number one and put cassette number two in. I have the same problem with not being able to increase the fade level, but after making at least twenty copies none of them came out with blank lines! I'm so relaxed! I will finish using this cartridge but would be happy to return another if I can figure out how. I will no longer order from this company. I like being able to choose the level of darkness.
