Great original product. Lost a pen in all places in our new car. He fell under the seat and somehow slipped between the folds of the carpet! For a lifetime we couldn't find it, so we needed a replacement. These things don't come cheap and we often find that fakes don't meet the same quality standards. This pen is a real product with exactly the same packaging as the pen that came with the Note when it was launched just a month ago. Are you talking about a short time to lose a new pen? The pen was completely empty when we got it, so we had to let it charge for an hour. It only got 1% charge (after leaving it in the N10 for 24 hours), so once we finally got charged we had to sync the pen to the device before we could fully charge the pen. Some kind of limitation in the device security program didn't allow us to use the pen until then. But it works the same as the previous S Pen. Hope that helps.
