We bought these for our second grader to help him with his math study. Sometimes, being able to visualize numbers or move around while learning really helps the brain make all those important connections. For this purpose they are great. The bright colors and soft body add interest and appeal that pure paper math lacks. But other than that, they're pretty terrible. They are not round in shape; Most of them were flattened into lumpy pancakes that were just carefully tossed from person to person. If you step on it or sit on it, it will never regain its shape. You are too sensitive for a small child; My 4 year old broke two by kicking them like a regular chopsack. Overall I wouldn't buy them again. They have no durability, little play value, and are quickly becoming just another thing to throw in the trash. Photos of the last remaining bullet still look like rounds.
