These holders were purchased to protect a new Medicare card. They arrived promptly and are clear and of a sufficient, not rigid strength. The card went in the holder with care and fit snugly. I tried copying the card in the holder on my copier/printer (as a dr office may need to) and it went through the equipment fine and the copy was clear. I think it would be difficult to get the thin paper card out and back in to the holder very many times without damage to the card. The holder is slightly bigger than the credit card slots in my wallet.
