Bought for my 1 1/2 year old grandson for his visits to the beach with us. i love dragons fly stunts as often as I can. This kite is so easy for him. Don't let out too much line - only about 12-15 feet. ha ha. but he could fly on his own, and the look on his "self-flying" face is incredible. (just have to teach him to tell granny when he doesn't want to fly anymore because you have to send someone to chase him on the beach. granny can't easily chase a flying kite on a crooked beach). And he learned how to pull it when the wind changed so damn easily. Of course it has crashed and burned a few times (sea beaches and occasional wind), but it is still in good condition and almost like new. This is the best kite for a youngster in my opinion I have a kite. So I can only talk about this style. But as a kite lover, I want to make my grandson feel like flying a kite. That was the best. I'll be buying a different kind soon.
