In general I use essential oils for most purposes, coconut is my favorite carrier oil and radha oil is pretty much everything I've used. There are so many reasons to use this oil. It is thin and light and therefore absorbs quickly. It has no smell. If so, better look at the ingredients or the expiry date. It shouldn't have an odor. If fragrance is listed as an ingredient, that's a wake-up call. Almost any chemical can be qualified as a flavoring agent. One of the added benefits I've recently discovered is that coconut oil is the least staining and doesn't hit linens as hard as other carrier oils. A chemist friend gave a little guide to this oil over a cup of coffee and said that one big reason coconut oil is the perfect carrier oil is that its molecules are very small, almost as small as essential oils, so it doesn't EM prevented from being absorbed into the skin. Pure, unadulterated coconut oil has many benefits, and while fractionated coconut oil is exactly what its name suggests, a fraction of the original oil, it still retains many health benefits. Pure oil contains a long list of triglycerides, most of which are removed when the oil is fractionated, but medium-chain triglycerides remain, making it a saturated oil, which isn't bad. This makes the oil more stable and ensures a longer shelf life. Fractionation also increases the concentration of caprylic and capric acids, giving them a stronger disinfectant and antioxidant effect. Coconut oil is used for skin care, high blood pressure, weight loss, digestion, stress relief, kidney problems, immune system boost and other purposes. In my view, using coconut oil along with essential oils means an increase in overall benefits. Excellent oil, competitive price.
