We have tested this tape in our government labs and as an expert in PSA (pressure sensitive adhesives) and protective tapes I can say that our lab tests are irrefutable and highly reproducible show that this protective tape is totally ineffective and useless as it can be easily removed by numerous methods such as steam and numerous solvents such as mineral spirits and then the contents removed, tampered with or replaced and then re-stick the tape with NO PROOF OF FAKE! IF the police really use this tape, then they have a security hole that I can use to chase the elephant! Don't waste your money on false security as the only benefit of believing this is to give you a false sense of security as this tape is useless for its intended purpose as any amateur can beat it. Any regular cheap packing tape is better as this product is very brittle and fragile and performs very poorly with both protective tape and packing tape. Don't waste your money on this poor quality product.
