This cable was the perfect length for my use ie connecting a Panasonic GH5 camera to an Ikan monitor on top of the camera. Although the cable length is listed as 12 inches, the actual length of the cable I received is 14.25 inches. This works for me because any shorter will be too tight. I've only had the cable for a few days, but it works great every time I use it. The cable is thin but not exceptionally thin - I don't think it will be too fragile for my use. Any small reduction in weight is good for my application as a heavier cable puts stress on the connections. This short and light cable is ideal in this regard. The HDMI connectors on the cable fit my camera and monitor ports perfectly, no sticking. I will definitely buy this cable again.
