This LED light works well as a backup light, but I wouldn't use it as the main light source. There is no indication of what color temperature you are. The instructions don't say it either. I think I can understand the buttons looking straight into the light. Not recommended. It will hurt your eyes a lot! The power button is in the center surrounded by four buttons. As far as I can see each button controls a section of light. For example, the top button controls the warm light on the top. And so on. The board is the same. It doesn't tell you what settings you're using. It looks like it can release the shutter for Canon, Nikon and Panasonic cameras. I can neither confirm nor deny this as I have not tried it. The battery indicator is also confusing. If you gently press the power button, only one of the battery lights will illuminate, giving the impression that your battery is being read and the battery is low. However, if you long-press it, the light will turn on and the full display will illuminate, giving you more accurate readings. It's just not a very good design.
