Review on ZAGG ZAGGfolio for Apple iPad 2 - Carbon with Black Keyboard: A Perfect Blend of Style and Functionality by Lamar Vanderburg

I cannot praise this product enough. My brother had an original iPad and I bought him a Zagg keyboard case as a birthday gift and he told me it was a great product. So when I bought the iPad 2, the first thing that struck me was Zagg's offering in this space. I'm SO glad I did. First off, I'm just thrilled with the battery life. I received the case on August 22, 2012. I am writing this review on November 30th, 2012 and to date I have NEVER had to plug my case in to charge it! It will still discharge no matter what initial charge it is given. To be clear, that's ninety-nine (99) days of daily use (and I REALLY use it every day for work) without having to charge it. I've never had a computer accessory that lasted so long without charging. She far exceeded my expectations in that regard! Also the keyboard works well enough for me. The smaller keys take a little getting used to and I still find them a bit more tactile than on a full-size keyboard, but it's actually not a bad thing. In my opinion, the smaller form factor justifies the convenience. In terms of pairing, I've never had any issues connecting to my iPhone or iPad via Bluetooth. It always finds devices quickly. Seamless. Additionally, the folio body is made of durable plastic that flexes slightly, giving me confidence that my iPad is safe inside. It increases the tablet's volume significantly, but for me it's a compromise to protect your investment. Overall, this case has made my iPad 2 a much more valuable asset. I used to carry my MacBook Pro to work every day. I use it for my daily applications now as it's much lighter and less cumbersome, but I can still send emails efficiently using the keyboard, whereas using the touchscreen keyboard used to be tedious and painfully slow compared to what what I could do on a laptop. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!**** UPDATE 01/25/2013 **** The battery finally discharged its original charge today after 155 days of regular use. It's pretty amazing if you ask me. Hope that helps. ****UPDATE 4/9/2014**** I have been using this product almost daily since I purchased it on August 22, 2012. To date I have charged this device a total of 3 times. Yes, that's right THREE TIMES. I am more than amazed at the battery life of this product. I still have no problem pairing it with my iPad and am more than happy with this purchase.
