What beautiful cases! After looking at many others and reading many reviews I realized these are the right cases to protect my investment in crayons and pencils. I was hoping to find genuine leather cases but was afraid the price would be prohibitive. I was happy to find these cases and even happier when I actually did them. They feel solid and well constructed. I bought several different sizes as I have several different sets of pencils and crayons and don't want to mix them up in one case. I will be using them for wax and oil based crayons, watercolor pencils, pastels, color markers, micron ink sticks and several sets of graphite crayons. This keeps them all fully organized and fully accessible without being sorted by layers in jars. I will make labels to attach to the zipper of each suitcase so I know what's inside. In addition, the cases fit well in the small desktop bookshelf (sloping) next to my drawing table. From time to time I oil the cases with mink oil to keep the leather supple. It will take me a while to fill the cases, but these cases will be much more secure and it will be much easier for me to find the colors I need. . How well they will actually stand the test of time. Hope they pass the test!
