I returned him/her.

I bought two 1/4 inch clear presser feet in hopes of using them on two different machines. I always thought it would be handy to find a presser foot that allows you to sew 1/4 inch stitches on both the right and left side of the presser foot without having to change needle position for one or the other, and I was happy with it Read the description of this product to see what it offers. . I also thought the markings on the side of the foot would come in handy when turning. First, the sewing foot is very thick (and may not be very well polished) which made it more difficult to smoothly move the fabric underneath, affecting the accuracy of the seam. Also, the fabric always wanted to get caught in the indentations on the lateral side of the foot. To get a 1/4 inch seam I had to adjust the needle position on my machine and it never adjusted so that if one side was 1/4 inch the other side was too, and a needle position change resulted in the fabric not being served. along the feeder enough. Since adjusting the needle position was key to getting a 1/4 inch seam, it was unsuitable for another sewing machine I was planning to use the second presser foot on, as that machine didn't have the required needle. Eventually I considered keeping one of the two presser feet I ordered to use the markings on the side to turn the corners, but after experimenting with this I found I got better with a pair of other presser feet achieve results. I already had them on hand so I returned them for a refund. I think it would be a better product if they could find a way to make the plastic as thin as other regular plastic sewing machine feet and just as polished the underside. , plus has its sides marked differently so there are no indentations.
