You get what you pay for
My lamp arrived late in a battered box and plastic bag so I don't know if the condition I received it was due to the carrier or if it was sent that way. The upper part of the lamp was disassembled, assembly instructions were not included. After a few minutes I figured out how to attach the switch, lampshade cap and cartridge. It feels light (cheap) and there are scratches on the chrome part of the base that are visible up close. But the lamp works perfectly, so I will not send it back. weeks. Just cheap and not reliable. I had to disassemble and reassemble it twice. We replace it. I lowered my rating to one star.
