Destroyed my GoPro in underwater photography

Housing leaked on first use and destroyed my GoPro which I had for many years. It wasn't even flooded. The water came in only by splashes. I was wary because it has a cheap spring unlike the case I've had for many years. You can't even use this near water. Garbage. I want to return my GoPro.
