, I bought this remote control to use with a Samsung UN60H7150 60" LED Smart TV from 2014. I compared it with the official Samsung AA59-00558A remote control on which it is based (see a little more solid One press of a button and the power button on the remote only lights up with the volume and channel buttons but brighter than on the official remote Out of the box it's great Worked with my Samsung TV and didn't require any programming to use Uses 2 AAA batteries, just like the official remote. The build quality seems identical to me. Visually the only real difference is the absence of the Samsung logo on the remote. It does exactly what you need, a replacement for the original but cheaper.
