Are cute designs really important for babies? My cats don't care either. The light blue blanket and animal head blanket are soft enough for my cats when I need to wrap them up for a pedicure. Even after washing, remember that sandpaper is medium to coarse grit for others. They get newborn blankets, so don't complain about the size, but what was Gerber thinking? Although it's been 57 years since I first used blankets, I know mine were very soft - just right for a newborn.
