It's kind of a mattress topper, but for your air conditioner. It's a thick pad with 2 layers of insulation, so it's nice. The one I have is NOT cream - it looks like a white one that needs washing. The elastic keeps it snug enough, but it sags a bit and sits loose in the middle, so I could see it might balloon out in strong winds. To be honest I think what I got was a return because it's a little wrinkled, looks dirty and the box it came in had a second box - no label, no instructions, nothing . It does look reasonable though and will likely reduce wind/cold air to some extent.
