Review on Atopalm Real Barrier Essence Mist by Jacob Thorson

This product page is misleading. I saw good reviews about this line and wanted to jump in by purchasing this spray. Note that it contains essential oils, which is fine if you're not sensitive to them, but I'M ALLERGIC to oranges and this contains orange oil. I wish they would list the full ingredient list accurately because I wouldn't buy it. I didn't realize it until I received the box of orange and lavender essential oils. Although the brand mentions here that it "contains 0.3% essential oils", this should be stated in the ingredients on the page. It also advertises itself as being safe for the skin barrier and good for restoring skin barriers, but if you've really damaged your skin barrier you need to save it and use mild soothing products. It smells strongly of lavender, which doesn't bother me, but it's not a pleasant scent for my face at all. I've only used it for 2 days just because I wanted to see how it would perform anyway so I don't have a good review on how the product performs in the long term but first overall impressions just left a bad taste in my mouth. My skin looked healthy and plump so I gave it to her but I couldn't get rid of the smell and I was afraid my allergies would get worse. I do not recommend this if you have skin damage from the use of harsh retinoids, overuse of chemical peels, or sunburn. It's like my boyfriend telling me he's not talking to a girl, but he's actually behind my back. I know it's just skincare but I love taking care of my skin and I feel weirdly betrayed by this mist lol. On the other hand, it's good. not very expensive, and unless you're sensitive or have tight skin, your skin will look and feel more hydrated.
