This is a modified review. My first post was negative. Apollo Quality Products contacted me the day after I left negative feedback. Simply put, my review was about how the product received differed from what was declared, but just enough to be legal. They went out of their way to fix the issue, gave me back the agreed refund and even changed the description of the post to be more accurate. As agreed, I have removed my negative post and left a correct one that no longer reflects the disappointment at the differences between the description and the product received. Unlike before, the description now doesn't include the parts that bother me. It's a decent bowl for the price. You don't get something that is simply stamped out of metal and passed off as quality. However, you don't get the heirloom either. The stainless steel shines and to keep it that way, a polishing cloth is included. However, stainless steel is not perfect and has some light scratches from manufacturing. The bowl is thick enough to withstand moderate use and should never be used that often as it is primarily used for shaving cream. However, the lid is a bit disappointing. It covers the product inside the bowl but is more of a dust cover or insect screen. However, this does not prevent the soap from drying out and thus cracking. However, this slows down this process, so you should see positive results with regular shaving. If you shave regularly, you will still never see the soap crack. The cover is made of thinner metal, it has more scratches. This is a weakness of the two piece design, there is a big difference in quality between the bowl and the lid. But think about it, you're only paying TWENTY DOLLARS (US Dollars), it's not a $500 item. Heck, it's not a $100 thing. Overall, you get what you pay for and more. But you don't get anything worthy of the classics of the rich and famous, although I could see that this company has a line to make one of these for them without the same flaws. for the big bucks. In general 5 stars. Now they have corrected the description.
