I have a 5 light pendant light on a dimmer. When I replaced burned out lightbulbs, I got a smorgasbord of tones and brightness. Then I found out about the "K” rating, which turned out to be different, presumably depending on the manufacturer. So I bought them and assembled them all for service. And they are great. I mentioned dimmers. Old-fashioned rotatable, with fixation in the "off" position. The lights will ALL flash for a second when you turn them on. Well it's a 50 year old house, I realized I had a homeless dimmer (or rather, he didn't like LEDs). So I bought a new switch (Lutron) and swapped it out. But I really like the update. The lights STILL flicker a little when you turn on the new LED compatible dimmer. Probably just a small spike when the switch is on. It's not noticeable with old bulbs, only LEDs. At least my guess.
