This is a good drone but it is a Chinese budget option. Pros: Super low price for what you get. A foldable camera drone at this price point is very special. good camera With a wide field of view and enough megapixels to look great on a phone or tablet, this is a "good enough" video for any amateur enthusiast or anyone who wants to experiment before jumping to a professional video platform. Cons: My drone's rear legs win. It snaps into place, so calibration is permanently disabled. Any slight gust of wind can cause the leg to bend more, resulting in more problems balancing the drone while flying. Eventually I just superglue the legs because flying is more important to me than storage. User manual in Chinese. The manual is not written by native English speakers and is generally of very good quality, so it will take the average user quite a bit of time to troubleshoot and browse the web. Luckily, I've flown a similarly cheap Chinese drone before, so here are some of those tips and tricks, but if you're new to this, just understand that you'll need Google on hand for your first few flights. The app is garbage. It's a cheap Chinese app, so don't feel safe to download it, the settings and options don't make sense, the overall quality is very low. It works, but barely and not intuitively. The controller looks and feels like a Fisher Price kid's toy. Really cheap parts. The "smartphone stand" was only suitable for the smallest iPhones and ultra-thin smartphones. It doesn't fit every modern flagship phone with a regular aspect ratio. Overall: The price is great but the quality is what you pay for. The foldable legs mean that if quality control is unlucky, the unit will never open and hang stably for more than a few seconds. Someone who is a decent pilot will be able to fix this, but absolute beginners will be disappointed with the experience. My plane has a few other oddities that I'm trying to figure out - for example, it won't take off except by pressing the "auto takeoff and landing" button, which flies it five to seven feet in the air. Air. Surely there must be a way to take off manually under one's own power, right? The manual doesn't help much so next flight I'll try to google more until I get it. Since I had to use the emergency launch and landing button, the emergency landing also tends not to land smartly - I saw the unit land and then pull two meters to the left before hitting something and eventually shutting off the motors. It's frustrating. He flies, photographs, but there is almost no overall quality. You can see what you would get if you paid more for a better drone.
