I received this playpen to set up a play area for my 1 year old to play while I work from home in the same space. It seemed great at first as the plastic is smooth and durable and you can customize this playpen into many different shapes to fit the space available. How tight I tighten them my 1 year old can unscrew them and disassemble the panels. I'm afraid he'll put one in his mouth one day and choke on it. I have another plastic play grip in another room where the panels simply hook together with two long pins and slots on each end of the panel. In 3 years none of my kids could take it apart as one panel has to be lifted a few feet while holding the other panel for them to fall apart. I think this arrangement is much safer for young children who will put everything they can get their hands in their mouths.
