I agree. At first I was very skeptical. As a longtime user of leather wallets; I wasn't sure what to expect from this canvas material. I understand that sails must be able to withstand high wind loads and constant exposure to salt water, ultraviolet light and many other environmental factors. It was logical to assume that the same material in the wallet should be of equal strength. What I like is the very thin design and the exceptionally low weight. Unlike any other wallet I've had, made of leather or even fabric; The Flowfold is so thin and light that I hardly feel it in my pocket. I don't use the back pocket for my handbag, so it's always changing position from the front pockets to a shirt, jacket, cargo pocket. wherever there is space. It just fits well, blends in with everything, and I don't realize it, but I still know it's there (if that makes sense). I usually keep a few bills, two credit cards, my driver's license, a VA medical card, a Sheetz rewards card, and a little protection poem my mom gave me many, many years ago. Generally with the content; The wallet weighs only 1.9 ounces (54 g).
