My 10 year old gives two thumbs up and asks for more. She may wear navy blue or hunting stockings or tights with her school uniform. We had our first big day yesterday so she put on the pair I bought her to try on. It's very hard for her to fit into anything but tights are a big disappointment because she's small but has long legs (55 inches tall, 60 pounds, 20 inches waist, 25 inches inseam). Most tights are either too loose. Her waist is so big in her legs that she can't wear them, or the tights are so high that it looks like she's wearing a body suit. They suit her very well (I bought 8-10). She said they were comfortable and warm. She's dropped her waist by a belt width, but that doesn't compare badly to some of the other tights she's worn in the past. They washed up well and are only $10 for a pair if she loses them in gym class or off road I won't be upset. I put them in a linen bag and washed them in a typewriter then dried them on a low 1. The leg size has shrunk slightly (girth, not length) but that was fine for her skinny legs. I would dry them before washing instead of tumble drying them if they fit perfectly just to be on the safe side.
