I know I have a lot of hair. For example a lot of hair. It's thick, it's wavy, it's known to destroy smaller containment devices. And more than once a vacuum. These clips hold up well. They are safe, stay home for a few hours and looking good, especially since I'm working from home now. BUT. I have an undercut that takes up about a third of my hair volume and these hair clips barely hold the rest. It's probably my fault for not using a tape measure and just going by how big they are compared to other clips I've used would be, but they said they were tall. Said for thick hair. Neither the one nor the other is true. Again for the price? Cannot be defeated. They do their job. Do I need 8 of these? I think I'm pretty bad at holding hair clips. If I let my undercut grow out, do I need to buy something else or just do full space buns? Totally right. If you're not that bothered by what my partner somewhat affectionately (and a little apprehensively) calls an "octopus," then you're probably fine. If, like me, you've ever clogged your shower drain so badly with a hairball that replacing a piece of pipe was literally easier than pulling it through, then maybe not so much.
