I have a new knee prosthesis and the retention knee needs to be replaced. I compete with my dog in sprints and sudden turns. Some days my knee joint is a little pounding, it's new and I'm still building muscle to do more on it, this brace is great for a little extra support. I also use it for my other knee which is pretty much ruined. I don't like walking around in big corsets, but this one satisfies my need for support. It features foam pads that you can move to provide support where you need it. But they do stretch very quickly, so if you use them as much as I do, they'll only last you for about a month or two.
