Review on Xantrex 84 2030 00 LinkLite Battery Monitor by Kendro Givens

I bought this for my 200 volt DC system electric car. It needs a prescaler for high voltages, which I also got myself. One thing I didn't know is that you have to run it on an isolated 12 volt DC circuit. Unfortunately, the measuring device blew up due to a short circuit. If I had used an isolated DC power supply it would not have been damaged. Another issue is that I think it's overpriced for what it does. It cannot be calibrated to measure current. I ended up buying a $30 square meter that can measure voltage without a prescaler and I gave up the state of charge (SOC) function. I spent almost $300 and a lot of time trying to figure it out.
