Benefits: The table comes with two parts: a collapsible metal frame and a wooden lid that attaches to it. No tools are required for assembly, and it is suitable for a small computer desk. Cons: I wouldn't trust a table to hold me if I fall on it or because of the repeated effort of pushing me up with the table. The wooden table top (MDF I think) is the structural support but is only held in place with 4 plastic brackets. The upper also doesn't look like it will hold up to prolonged use without warping/flexing. Note: and experience Remember that I weigh 104 kg, as does my wife. I also have two heavy stacks of hard drives on my desk (two RAID arrays of 8 and 5 drives). It supports these RAID arrays, the 24-inch LG Ultrafine 4K monitor, the Mac Mini, the table lamp and a few other little things. I don't know what the weight is, but so far it's holding up well.
