I drive a CRV with a small mirror in the visor with side lighting. This makes it completely impossible for you to see yourself in the mirror with lights on each side. I wish there was a way to turn off the lighting feature that comes on when you open the mirror cover, but I couldn't find it so I bought this mirror to cover an existing one. Just put it on the visor and the problem is solved. It comes with a light function and batteries but I definitely won't be using that and luckily I had the option of not having to install it. It's larger than the mirror that came with the car, is of decent quality and doesn't distort. Very happy with this purchase!
