I was looking for a large watch with lots of sparkle and didn't want to spend a fortune. This watch fits that description perfectly. It has a large round dial and the glass cover is smooth and flat except for the part above the date which has a small magnifying glass so you can see the date easily. My wrist is 6.5 inches long so I had to remove two links. I watched some youtube videos showing how to remove the links with an eyeglass screwdriver but I couldn't do it myself and was afraid of damaging the watch so I took it to a watch repair shop and he did it done. in about ten minutes for eight dollars. Nothing bad. Now the watch fits perfectly and I love it. It weighs about 4 ounces or 114 grams, so you know for sure you're wearing the watch on your wrist, but I don't mind the weight. The clasp has a safety feature which I like knowing it won't get caught on anything, accidentally open or fall off. Some reviewers say the clasp is difficult to open, but I don't think that applies to me at all. This watch is exactly what I was looking for and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a big and shiny watch. I will probably buy a gold plated watch in the same style.
