Now I've tried this KVM switch with two unique sets of docking desktops/laptops and it didn't fully work with either of them. It is completely unclear whether KVM is ported correctly via keyboard/mouse. I've had a couple of occasions where it showed me a desktop display, but lo and behold I see the mouse still moving there on my laptop screen. And yes, I'm 100% sure it's connected correctly, and when I've toggled it between the A/B settings multiple times, it ended up switching the K/M output correctly. I moved to a new house and the Switch, despite being bubble wrapped and transported in my car with the rest of my computer stuff, was essentially non-functional for the K/M when it was set up again. I kept using it because at least I could toggle the displays accurately. However, having gotten a new laptop at work, now not even one of the displays is ported over the new docking station. When I connect it directly to the docking station it works, but not to the KVM switch. I've done so much L1 debugging trying to figure out what's wrong with the keyboard/mouse (and it was definitely always KVM) that I won't troubleshoot any further. I'm in the process of replacing it with something else just a few months after purchasing it.
