They go very little. I usually wear men's 7, had to order this 8.5. Once I got the right size I loved them; so comfortable and had amazing traction for my short hikes. However, I wore them a total of 8 times and rode 24 miles when one of the lace loops snapped. And even you can tell that the breakage is due to poor construction and incorrect fixation of the loop and not a breakage of the nylon. These are not cheap shoes and I love all the other Xero styles I have (3 pairs) so it's a shame they are so poorly made. Coming back for a refund, so disappointed.
