Edit September 22, 2019: After I wrote the first 2 start review, Linklike customer service contacted me and offered a replacement which I accepted. I got a replacement within a day or two. I increase this from a start to 3, if it lasts longer than 3 months like the first I can increase it even more. The hum is still there. I bought it (May 2019) because I like to charge my phone and listen to podcasts on the way to work. I have Moto Z2 Force. When I first got this it worked great, it charged and I was able to plug my extra 3.5 plug into it. I heard a faint hum as I drove, more noticeable when it was quiet. It suited me and didn't bother me too much. For 3 months it was not charged and at the same time no sound was played. When the charger was plugged in, it charged but no sound played. When I unplug it it plays sound so now I have an outlet that I can use to charge or play sound but the connection is very flexible sometimes it won't plug into the outlet so it won't charge or is played. The audio connection is very weak. It was strong initially and I was fine with a slight hum, but now it can't be used to charge and listen to audio at the same time, it's one or the other. I still have the factory USB-C to 3.5 that came with my phone and the connection is really solid and not bad at all. Much narrower gaps than this article.
