Not bad for small jobs. It takes a while to heat up and it's hard to know what to do with it while it's heating up. You really can't put it down as it can only sit on a table or towel with a hot object, which can cause some problems. But it is very light and works well for attaching collars. It's easy to take on trips and pretty cute overall.
