First off, I'm about 6 feet tall and weigh about 40 pounds. I work outdoors/walk on concrete most of the day. This shoe offered some comfort and support. In recent years I have suffered from pain in my heels and knees. And I finally realized that a good pair of shoes helps. My last 2 pairs of shoes were Brooks. Decided to give it a try as the price is reasonable and the reviews are good. They're not the most comfortable shoes I've worn (compared to the Brooks Ghost/Adrenaline), but they're pretty decently comfortable. I had to buy and put in my favorite memory foam insoles to add a little more cushioning and support. And now these shoes are so comfortable I can wear them 10 hours a day at work. I usually wear a size 10.5 sometimes 11. I bought these in a size 11 and they fit perfectly. I had a toe-width gap between my big toe and my boot. If I had to argue, I'd say I could do without the flashy "fitville" embroidery on the shoes. Otherwise I would say that they are very stylish. My colleagues have praised her. Plus, they offer great support and comfort for the price. Does the sole feel stiff but comfortable? Lol I don't know how else to describe it. Be sure to get a pair of insoles if you don't like the ones included in the set.
