I just got it today so I haven't had a chance to use it yet. If anything changes, I will edit my review. But for now let me just say that I did a lot of research before purchasing this item and it seems to me that this is the most non-toxic water bottle on the market. The glass does not contain lead, the rest corresponds to the description on the product page. It comes apart easily for cleaning and is said to be 100% unbreakable! It's attractive, easy to use, fits in my car's cup holder and I can't wait to use it. The hinged lid has a lock! You can zip it up when you put it in your gym or other bag and it will stay securely closed and sealed. It has three different silicone rings that can be easily removed for cleaning. I don't know yet if it will keep you warm or cold during use, but I'll find out soon. I'm not sure I would put hot drinks in it and I certainly wouldn't put it in the freezer, but that's just my opinion. If you think you want to do this I would contact the manufacturer.
